A thesis which studies how young people portray themselves online using Twitter biographies. It uses discourse analysis to investigate if students' online self-representations differ from their own self-perceptions, and how students act in public online environments.
This thesis was written as part of my B.A. in Applied languages from the University of Limerick, and I submitted it as my final year project, recieving both an A1 grade and the CALS Undergraduate Research Award.
